Introduction to this page

Familiarize yourself with the significant features of the Statistics Dashboard

The Statistics dashboard shows stats for spaces, files and users; users can also find out if a shared link has been opened, by which person, and if its files have been downloaded.

All this information can also be exported or set to be received via email weekly by any user.

All users have access to the Statistics Dashboard but can only see information on the spaces they are allowed to view.

Good to know: All users have access to the Activity tab but can only see information on the spaces they are allowed to view.

Quick guide to the Statistics tab

You can view the Statistics tab by opening the dashboard in your 'Tools' menu.

The Statistics tab has 5 main components, as follows:

1. Space filter

If you are a member of more than a few Spaces, you may wish to filter the view to only show activity in one of the Spaces. To do this, click on the relevant Space on the left-hand side of the page. To return to viewing all of the Spaces' requests in one list, click 'All'.

2. Shared Link stats

This option is only available when choosing to see statistics for a specific space, including the private space. To see statistics for a shared link that was generated in the space selected, click on “Shared links” to open the link selector modal and double click on the link you want to see stats for.

Once you've clicked on the "Shared links" button, select the link you want to see the statistics for.

This will display statistics for that link in the main pane. If you have sent your link via email, you can also see who opened the link or not yet by clicking on this icon (in the Sessions section):

To return to viewing statistics on the space, click “This space”.

3. Time Frame filter

From here you can switch between different time frames such as today, this week, this month and this year. The default “All” shows statistics for the site as far back as Chorus can get them.

4. Main pane

Statistics are shown here, based on the time frame filter that was selected. The pane is divided in 4 sections: sessions, views, downloads and top 10 downloads.

Sessions shows how many unique sessions were recorded, with multiple views from the same users potentially counting as one session.

Views shows how many times a certain space was visited overall.

Downloads shows how many files were downloaded.

TOP 10 Downloads shows the most downloaded files.

A refresh button is also available on the top right corner.

5. Export buttons and weekly reports

By clicking one of these two buttons, you can export the statistics currently shown to a CSV file or a PDF file that will download to your computer.

The “email me a weekly report” checkbox near them allows you to receive a weekly report to your registered email address.

Good to know: Statistics are shown for individual files too, read more here: B5. View files and their details using the Preview
