Step-by-step:
1. Perform a search using the search bar. For instructions on this, see Search for files.
2. Once the results of the search have been returned, click Save in the right-hand sidebar.
A new smart collection form will load, with the search conditions used already completed. The process for creating the smart collection is described here: C4.1 Create a smart collection.
The minimum you must do is give the Smart Collection a name by editing the "Smart Collection Name" field, and then click Save.
