Introduction to this page

The Queue Managers are found in the Tools menu, and show your recent activity for long-running tasks which Chorus manages on a queue.

All of the activity you see is also logged for auditing by site admins.

Good to know: Downloads are stored in the Queue Manager for 48 hours after you have collected them, or 10 days if you have not. Uploads are stored for 48 hours

Step-by-step: Open the Queue Manager

1. Click Tools from the top of Chorus. A dropdown tools menu will appear.

2. Choose Uploads or Downloads. The Queue Manager will open.

About the Uploads tab

The Uploads tab of the Queue Manager shows your upload activity, listed per file, according to time and date, with the most recently uploaded file listed first.

The file name and size of uploaded files is shown, as is the status of the upload. If an upload is in progress, you can check here to see progress.

About the Downloads tab

In the Downloads tab of the Queue Manager, you will see your downloads listed according to time and date, with the most recent listed first.

The location from which you downloaded files is shown, as is the number of files in the download. The status of the download is also shown.

  • Click Collect to complete a download for the first time.
  • Click Re-Collect to repeat a download.
  • Click the cross (Remove) to remove a download from the list.

Good to know: Files prepared for download do consume storage capacity in your Chorus site. Clearing a collected download from the Queue Manager will release capacity back to the site.
