Introduction to this page

Generating code to embed a video player in a web site.

If you have permission to publish a video file you can generate code to paste into a website that will create a video player to show a file in Chorus.

When using a video embed the file will be served (and the data sent to your browser) from Chorus rather than the website that displays it.

Good to know: Only video files (or gifs which will be converted to a video) can have an embed code at present.

Step-by-step:

Select the video file you want to get a video embed code for and preview it.

  1. In the right-hand panel, click the Generate Embed Code button.

2. Copy the code to your clipboard

Revoking a Video Embed

If you generate a Video Embed Code by mistake, or you wish to remove a video from a website you can delete the embed which will break the link.

Note that: due to external caching it may take up to 24 hours for the embed to completely stop working.

  1. Click the X next to the link

2. Click on Revoke.
