Making use of external authentication (SSO) means that you have chosen to move many authentication and authorization responsibilities away from Third Light software and into other products.

As such Third Light can only provide general advice for the integration procedure and you may need to research implementation specific details for your chosen SSO server software (IdP).

We provide a number of documentation resources to help you but please be aware that the majority of the integration project will involve non-Third Light products and you may need to also talk to support teams of your IdP vendor.

The IT member and the Chorus administrator (who may not be technical) will need to liaise with each other during the integration project to decide what permissions users logging in via SSO should receive and how space/group mappings should be configured.
