Spaces can not be recovered but their contents can be so it is possible to re-assemble the space.
- Recreate an empty space
- Look for a single folder in the recycle bin of the user that deleted the space. It will have a description of 'Deleted space contents for <space name>'
- Click Restore from their Recycle Bin which will move the folder to the user's private space.
- Move the recovered content into the recreated space
- Recreate roles and membership within the space.
- Recreate any metadata panels or fields for the space.
Use the impersonation feature to login as the user that deleted the content should they be unavailable when the problem is detected.
Content will remain in a user's recycle bin only for as long as has been configured on the Admin > Site > Recycle Bin page.
