Introduction to this page
Replace or delete existing metadata on a batch of files.
Step-by-step:
1. Select the files you want to edit by clicking on each file once. The total number of files in your selection is shown as a number in the right-hand sidebar.
2. Click Edit in the right-hand sidebar. An Edit menu will open.
3. Choose Batch Edit.
The Batch Edit modal will open.
4. Select an option for the field you want to edit from the dropdown menu beside it:
- To replace all metadata in the field, choose Replace.
- To find and then replace specific metadata within the field, choose Search & Replace.
- To find and delete specific metadata from within the field, choose Search & Delete.
5. Enter the text you want to Search for, and that which you want to be the Replacement.
6. Click Save.
