WHAT: Sharing a file or folder with a colleague can be thought of as giving access to the colleague. Sharing does not move a file or folder's location when it is shared; another user is simply given access to it.
You can set your colleague's permissions for viewing and handling the share's contents in the Share Folder modal.
Once shared with them, your colleague will receive access to the share via their private space.
The metadata panels and details that they will see are those determined by the space in which the share is located.
WHY: Sharing helps move files around teams efficiently - it bridges spaces, users and their files together.
