What is a presets catalog?
Chorus can resize files to specific sizes. The definition of those sizes is stored in a catalog attached to a space. The purpose of a presets catalog is to provide a menu of presets in the download and derivative modals. It is especially useful for setting up specific file sizes for content management systems and web pages, or providing helpful shortcuts to sizes you use regularly.
Every Chorus space has its own presets catalog. Presets catalogs cascade to subspaces.
Who manages download catalogs?
- The site presets catalog is managed by site admins.
- Library and work space presets catalogs are handled by the managers of those spaces.
- Private space presets catalogs are managed by individual users.
Presets Catalogs are organized with categories and presets.
Categories: A category is a grouping of presets.
Presets: Presets are customizations to files that include changes to format, dimensions, and color space. Presets are selected by users before downloading files.
