Introduction to this page

Upload files into any space where you have upload permission.

You can drag and drop files into any space where you have permission to upload. For more, see Understand your role and permissions in a space.

Step-by-step:

1. Open the folder or space into which you want to upload a file or folder.

2. Drag and drop a file from your computer desktop into the active pane.

Good to know: If you are using Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge web browsers, you can drag and drop folders into Chorus to upload them in the same way as files.

If you are not using one of these browsers, first create a new folder in your Chorus destination pane, then drag and drop a batch of files from the original desktop folder into this new folder.

Alternatively:

1. Open the Chorus folder or space into which you want to upload a file or folder.

2. Click Upload in the right-hand sidebar. This will launch a browser window, from which you can select your file/s or folder for upload.

The progress of any upload is shown in several indicators:

1. A progress bar will appear around the search bar. This gives you an idea of how much of a total upload is yet to be completed.

2. A spinning progress wheel and percentage counter will appear over the previews of each file you are uploading. This lets you know which files are yet to arrive.

If you see none of the above, it is because your upload is already complete!
