Permissions are your abilities to work with the files of a space where you are a member.
You will have different permissions in different spaces. Permissions include View, View attachments, Share, Download, Publish, Upload/Add, Edit and Delete. A role is a set of permissions.
Permissions and roles are controlled by the managers of a space.
Step-by-step:
1. Spaces have a darker background color and a distinctive logo. From site, double-click on the avatar of a space to open it.
2. Look at the banner for this space. Here, you will see the following:
- The name and avatar of the space.
- Your role: This is a description of your role in this space.
- The managers of this space. There may be one or multiple managers listed here.
- What you can do with the files here: Symbols indicate if you can view, share, or edit.
3. Click the ellipsis (...) at the end of the permissions symbols to see the complete list of your permissions, including: Upload, delete, share, and publish. The actions available to you in the toolbar on the right are determined by the permissions you have been given to work with the items in this space.
4. Double-click the avatar of a manager or user to see their email address.
