Introduction to this page

When Apple or Google Maps is integrated with your Chorus site, users can see the GPS location data of their files represented visually on maps.

Apple Maps

Apple Maps is the easiest to integrate as it normally requires no configuration. You should be able to enable Apple Maps simply by switching it on in the Site Settings.

Certain configurations of Data Centre Edition will be unable to use Apple Maps without additional local configuration. Please contact Third Light Support for assistance if you are having problems enabling Apple Maps.

Google Maps

Due to Google policies, the integration of Google Maps with Chorus depends on the URL that your site uses. In some cases, this integration will be automatic. In others, it must be manually configured.

To do this, you'll need a Google Maps API Key from Google (it's free and easy).
